Samitivej Hospital, founded in 1979, is a leading international hospital in Southeast Asia. Based in Bangkok, Thailand, the hospital operates facilites throughout the country as well as clinics in neighboring countries.
Bedside has been working with Samitivej Hospital's marketing and operations teams since 2011. What began as an effort to improve online communication soon grew into a series of projects designed to increase business generated online and to support existing operations with techological solutions.
In 2014 we developed a completely new website from the ground up. Samitivej’s new state-of-the-art website is fully responsive, includes e-commerce functionality and is available in multiple languages. It brings core business functionality in a consistent presentation to visitors using any device.
Since the website's launch, the hospital has tripled the number of monthly appointments year over year (to 1400+ per month) and increased monthly revenue by 40% year over year through this online channel.

Mobile First Strategy
Ensuring that the website was developed with its most important functionality available across all devices was a priority from the start. With half of all visits coming from mobile devices, the mobile user experience was at the core of our design and development process.
Bedside also coordinates the hospital's social media channels, ensuring consistent messaging through Thai and English language content development. The entire integrated digital marketing presence is tracked through Google Analytics, including custom goals and reporting.
